Loosen your belts! Charleston Restaurant Week has come at last. Running from January 7th through January 18th, restaurants in and around Charleston will be participating in an offering of special menus and discounts. The event, held twice yearly in January and September, has a pricing structure ranging from $20 to $40 menus. Several dining locations are offering $10 to $20 lunches.
Charleston Restaurant Week is an opportunity for everyone to enjoy the cuisine of the Lowcountry at fixed prices. Several of the participating restaurants include Katsu Japanese Steakhouse and Old Town Grill and Seafood. Restaurant Week of South Carolina starts January 8th and ends January 18th as well, and is sponsored by the S.C. Restaurant and Lodging Association.
The Greater Charleston Restaurant Association, Inc (GRCA), a nonprofit organization, is hosting the event. The organization also hosts Taste of Charleston and Lowcountry Oyster Festival. You can check out the list of participating restaurants here. On the go? Go to the app store and search CRA. All the Charleston Restaurant Week information is included.
