- Cast-Off Fishing Tournaments on the Mount Pleasant and Folly Beach Piers: On Sept. 1, head to the Mount Pleasant Pier to take part in a friendly fishing tournament. On Sept. 29, the tournament takes place at Folly Beach Pier.
- Wine Down Wednesdays at Old Towne Creek County Park: For a relaxing night out with friends, head to the Old Towne Creek County Park on Sept. 5 and Sept. 9 to enjoy tasty local food, wine, and live music.
- Charleston Restaurant Week: This year, Charleston Restaurant Week takes place Sept. 5-16 and showcases delicious local fare, from quick bites to fine dining. Come out to taste the local flavors! Charleston Beer Week takes place concurrently from Sept. 7-15, and you won’t want to miss it.
- MOJA Arts Festival: Taking place from Sept. 27 to Oct. 7, the MOJA Arts Festival is a celebration of African-American and Caribbean Arts. The festival will feature live music, dance, theatre, visual arts galleries, and more. Many of the events are free, making it very family-friendly.
